What are some good books you've read lately? - wyndham car auction
With a view to a long trip (about 40 hours) and buy for the love of reading.
I like all kinds of pounds. Let's see ...
- Horror / Romance Sweet Vampire Stories (please, no twilight. I have read, they are cute, etc. etc. etc.). I'm in the middle of Stephen King "Salem's Lot" and love.
- Sci-Fi (John Wyndham)
- Nothing to do with biology and genetics / medicine
- Girly Things. Sometimes. Already Books by Sophie Kinsella.
- Classic. Pride and Prejudice, Emily of New Moon, The Picture of Dorian Gray, Dracula, etc.
And please for the love of everything chocolate, do not seem to mention any of these books among young people in fashion. I agree to read anonymously Georgia Nicolson, and the Twilight series, but come on. No Harry Potter. No lord of the rings (although they are awesome).
Thank you all:)

I love The Picture of Dorian Gray. It's so ridiculous glory, but nevertheless:
Sci-Fi (John Wyndham): I know nothing of John Wyndham, who was also the day of horror, but I know it's a very different kind of apocalyptic book, we suggest that this great dystopian novels:
Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood (all of humanity dies)
Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury
Brave New World by Aldous Huxley
A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess
Rant by Chuck Palahnuik
Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell
Girly Stuff:
Maureen Johnson (The key to the Golden Firebird, Burmudez Triangle, Devilish, 13 Little Blue Envelopes, Girl at Sea, Suite Scarlett) and List E. Lockhart (married, Paper Boy, Fly on the Wall, Dramarama, how bad Diresputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks) are the authors of young adults with very attractive style, and write books about gay entertainment, spiritual with strong female characters. In addition, although one man, John Green (LookingAlaska, an abundance of Katherines), write books, which are bright, interesting, almost tenderly romances between embarrassing, nerdy teenagers and interesting, attractive, independent girl.
What have the "classics", all I can recommend (I will not mention) is The Catcher in the Rye by JD Salinger and Slaughterhouse-Five (not "technically" in a "classic", but is very popular and literary and Nice ) by Kurt Vonnegut. In fact, read all of Kurt Vonnegut. It is hilarious.

They talked about the biology and genetics. Two recent books are:
David Bainbridge - Beyond the zonule Zinn: a fantastic journey through the brain. This is a "geographical history of the nervous system: how the various parts were discovered and named. Infinitely fascinating and fun. Written by a neurologist for the general reader.
Neil Shubin - Your Inner Fish: A Journey in the history of 3.5 billion years of the human body. Why do we have two eyes? Two ears? Ten fingers? Shubin takes us through the development of our body. Another work for the general reader written by a specialist in the field.
To read in more than 30 years, two of the best popular science books that I read. I have a lot of them. You will never see her body shape is exactly the same thing, that after reading!
